He obtained his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts in Political
Science from the University of the East in 1984 and his post graduate
degree in Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College in 1988.

He passed the 1988 bar examinations, and having been admitted to the bar
on April 26, 1989, he went into trial practice and thereafter joined the Court
of Appeals as Court Attorney IV.

He joined the firm in 1993 as a litigation lawyer, handling administrative,
commercial, civil, criminal, labor, family, real property and property
development, aviation, and tax cases. He also represents clients in
commercial arbitration and voluntary arbitration cases and negotiates
collective bargaining agreements.

He serves as Corporate Secretary of some of the firm’s corporate clients.
He is presently the Managing Partner of the firm.
