GREGORIO M. BATILLER JR.
He obtained from Ateneo de Manila University his undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Arts, Major in Philosophy in 1975 (Cum Laude) and his postgraduate degree in Bachelor of Laws in 1979 (Valedictorian).
He topped the 1979 bar examinations (First Place). After his admission to the bar on May 8, 1980, he joined various banks and companies either as General Counsel, Head of Legal Department, or Corporate Secretary, building a career in the field of corporate, commercial, banking, taxation, and labor laws.
He co-founded the firm and is the partner in charge of corporate, commercial, banking, taxation, and arbitration cases.
He also served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce & Industry from 2004-2014.
He is a member of several trade and professional organizations and served in recent years in various capacities either as President, Governor, Director, or General Counsel, of the Metro Manila Chambers of Commerce & Industry – South Sector, Paranaque City Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Rotary International – District 3830, Rotary Club of Paranaque – Sucat, Integrated Bar of the Philippines (Pasay, Paranaque, Las Pinas, Muntinlupa Chapter), and the Ateneo Law Alumni Foundation, Inc.
He was a guest lecturer on Criminal Law Review of the Center for Global Best Practices, Inc. and was a part-time lecturer at Far Eastern University Institute of Law (2014 to 2018).
